    Background

    Gl'urp nearly lost his life as a child defending his friends. Despite his injuries, Gl'urp fought on and won, one of the friends was the son of the local lord, as a reward he was gifted with his trident, a relic of an attack from the surface lands.

    When the time came for his testing he was the only survivor from his class, for a reason he still does not understand, a Gulper eel attacked the grindylow that ambushed them, it has been with him ever since.

    Special Abilities

    • Aquatic (Racial): Native to the water. Cannot drown in oxygenated liquid and moves at full Pace when swimming
    • Attribute Increase (Racial) - Agility: During character creation, the species increases a particular attribute (Agility, Smarts, Spirit, Strength, or Vigor) one die type. This increases the Trait’s maximum by one as well.
    • Attribute Penalty (-1) (Racial) - Smarts: One attribute suffers a –1 penalty to all rolls (including damage if applied to Strength).
    • Bite (Racial): The race has fangs that cause Strength+d4 damage and can also be used on a Bound or Entangled foe
    • Dehydration (Racial): Locathahs must immerse themselves in water (salt or fresh) at least one hour out of every 24. Those who don’t are automatically Fatigued each day until they are Incapacitated. The day after that, they perish.
    • Low Light Vision (Racial): The being ignores penalties for Dim or Dark lighting (but not Pitch Darkness).
    • Reduced Pace (-1) (Racial): For –1 point, reduce Pace by 1 and the running die is a d4.
    • Skill (d4) (Racial) - Survival: The character starts with a d4 in a skill inherent to her race.
    • Swim Pace 12 (Racial): Locathahs are fast swimmers.
    • Toughness (Racial): The character has hardened skin, scales, or extremely dense tissue that increases his base Toughness by +1.
    • Martial Flexibility: Once per encounter as limited free action, gain the benefits of a single Combat Edge for 5 rounds if meets all the requirements.
